Bram Swinnen (Founder, Lead Expert)

Bram is the founder of Integrated Performance Training and a renowned expert in sports science, performance training and rehabilitation. With over 25 years of experience working with elite athletes, Bram has collaborated with some of the most prestigious sports teams and organizations around the world. His innovative approach blends velocity-based training, neuromuscular control and neuroscience into the training process, ensuring optimal performance while minimizing injury risks.

Bram is the author of the international bestseller “Strength Training for Soccer,” which is widely recognized for its practical insights on enhancing athletic performance. He has also authored several scientific publications and is regularly invited as a speaker at international conferences.

Bram earned a master’s degree in kinesiology and a master’s degree in physical therapy, and he highly values continuing education to stay at the forefront of his field.

Karel Vanhulsel (Strength & Conditioning Expert, Strongman Background)

Karel is a former Strongman athlete and the 2014 Belgium Strongest Man. With a wealth of experience in strength training and conditioning, Karel works with professional athletes from various sports, including American Football, rugby athletes from the Flanders Rugby Academy, and the Belgian Bullets bobsled team. He also collaborates with professional cyclists and rowers. Karel’s in-depth knowledge of power, strength, and endurance training, combined with his background as a competitive athlete, ensures that he can push athletes to their peak performance while maintaining a balance between power and agility. Karel is also the host of our Integrated Performance Podcast, where he interviews ambassadors (individuals who have attended our courses) to explore their expertise and knowledge in the field. Through these insightful conversations, Karel brings valuable perspectives on training, rehabilitation and sports science.

Sébastien Christe (Holistic Performance, Biomechanics, Diverse Athlete Portfolio)

Sébastien Christe is a professional strength and conditioning coach and the founder of a high-performance center in Switzerland. He holds a Master’s degree in Training and Performance from the University of Lausanne. Over the past five years, Sébastien has developed his performance center, working with elite athletes across various disciplines, including football players from first-division clubs in Switzerland, France, England, Italy, and Belgium, as well as MMA fighters, figure skaters, and race car drivers. As an athlete himself, Sébastien was a Swiss champion in capoeira and placed 4th in the world. He later transitioned to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, where he continues to compete. Sébastien’s expertise in biomechanics, exercise physiology, and a holistic approach to physical preparation enables him to deliver tailored, high-performance training programs to help athletes reach their full potential.

Benjamin Tubiermont (Manual Therapy, Elite Football Physiotherapy)

Benjamin is a manual therapist and sports manual therapist specializing in preventive and curative care for high-level athletes. He currently serves as the physiotherapist for the U21 Belgian Red Devils and works with several top football players competing in elite competitions across Europe. Benjamin’s approach combines hands-on manual therapy techniques with modern rehabilitation strategies to ensure athletes recover quickly and return to optimal performance. His expertise in managing recovery, injury prevention, and performance enhancement makes him an invaluable asset to our team.

Vincent Simons (Olympic Weightlifting, Sports Science, Rehabilitation)

Vincent is a Regional Manager at VALD, bringing years of experience in sports science and physiotherapy. He combines his expertise in performance training and rehabilitation with his passion for Olympic weightlifting, actively competing and coaching at high levels. Vincent’s innovative approach to sports science makes him an important member of our team, helping athletes achieve peak performance.

Duncan Boogaard (Strength & Conditioning, Martial arts, Special forces)

Duncan is a highly skilled performance coach specializing in strength and conditioning for MMA fighters and Special forces. With a focus on functional strength, conditioning, and injury prevention, Duncan has worked with athletes in combat sports to optimize their physical and mental performance. His approach blends sport-specific training with cutting-edge performance techniques to ensure athletes reach their peak potential in the cage. Duncan is also the founder of The 3D Athlete, where he trains athletes with personalized programs that target power, agility, and endurance—key components for success in MMA

Robbe Jochems (Functional Strength, Endurance Training, Athlete Mindset)

Robbe’s passion for sports began with competitive cycling, where he learned the importance of discipline and performance. After his cycling career, Robbe became a coach, specializing in functional strength training and performance optimization. With a deep understanding of biomechanics, he tailors his coaching to each individual, helping athletes achieve their personal goals. Robbe believes that performance isn’t just physical; it’s about building a mindset that fosters continuous improvement.

Thierry Willigenburg (Endurance Training, Hyrox, Data-Driven Insights)

Thierry is a triathlete, coach, scientist, and co-founder of Train Red, committed to advancing sports performance through data-driven insights. With expertise in endurance sports, strength, and conditioning, Thierry competes at both national and international levels. He holds a Master of Science in Biomedical Research and has contributed several publications on human performance. As a coach, Thierry has helped athletes from first-time marathoners to Olympic finalists, and his scientific approach greatly enriches our coaching methods.

Luca Roberto Potti (Data-Driven Insights, Youth Development)

Luca is the founder of 44 FIT, a training center specialized in performance development for elite and professional football players. He also serves as the Head of Strength at KV Mechelen Youth Academy. Since 2024, Luca has been a valued member of the teaching team at Integrated Performance Training. His data-driven and individualized approach to coaching helps athletes improve performance, making him a great asset to our team.

Peter Sjerps (Bodyweight Control, Mobility, Rotational movement)

Peter is a sports and movement coach specializing in strength and conditioning. With a focus on calisthenics, Animal Flow, and rotational movement training, Peter helps people reconnect with their bodies while improving mobility, stability, and overall strength. His unique approach, combining fitness with bodyweight control, has made him a leader in creating athlete physiques and guiding clients toward their goals.

Xander De Corte (Rehabilitation, Individualization, Data-Driven Performance)

Xander earned a master’s in physical therapy and is a performance specialist at VALD. With a strong background in sports science, he works with athletes across all age groups—from young sports enthusiasts to older recreational athletes. Xander emphasizes the use of simple, technology-supported tests to gather valuable information for health, performance optimization, and rehabilitation. An expert in identifying key metrics, Xander provides personalized and effective guidance throughout rehabilitation and training. His expertise lies in using data to help physical therapists and coaches make informed decisions, ensuring the right choices are made for each athlete and patient, ultimately improving training and rehabilitation outcomes.

Nima Bazzazi (Personal Training, Sports Nutrition, Performance App)

Nima is a passionate performance coach with a strong background in sports nutrition and strength & conditioning, holding diplomas from FC Barcelona’s University. Since starting his journey at 19, he has worked with athletes across all levels, including professionals. Nima runs his own gym and provides online coaching through his football performance app, Baz Performance. His personalized programs help athletes optimize their training, and his experience makes him a key member of our coaching team.

Raoul Stiehler (Biomechanics, Movement, Professional Dance Background)

Raoul joined Integrated Performance Training in March 2024 during a course at Borussia Dortmund. He is a certified physiotherapist and personal trainer with ten years of experience, drawing from his background as a professional dancer. Raoul currently works as a strength and conditioning coach for GTHGC, a first-division Bundesliga hockey club in Hamburg. His expertise in precise movement and biomechanics, shaped by his experience as a dancer, brings a unique perspective to our coaching team, helping athletes optimize their movement patterns and enhance performance with better body control and balance.

Michael Almeback (Elite Football Experience, Performance Optimization, Sports Technology)

Michael Almeback is a former professional footballer with over 17 years of experience playing at the highest levels of the game. His career includes time at top clubs such as Club Brugge, Brøndby, and Esbjerg, as well as representing Sweden at the national team level. Now serving as Senior Business Development Manager at Photon Sports Technologies, Michael combines his in-depth understanding of elite sports with cutting-edge technology in athlete performance measurement. His experience in professional training, performance optimization, and the daily realities athletes face makes him a valuable resource for those looking to elevate their physical performance, blending the worlds of sport and innovation.

Stijn Lintermans (Youth Development, Event Organization, Community Growth)

Stijn is a former distance runner who founded Performance Center Ternat, specializing in youth development for soccer athletes. He has served as Head of Physical Development for the youth department of KV Mechelen and has worked with the first team as well. Stijn is also heavily involved in organizing conferences, such as the Integrated Performance Congress at KU Leuven, which focuses on advancing sports performance. In addition, he serves as a board member of the Belgian Football Doctors and Associates. Stijn plays an invaluable role in our ambassador community, providing career opportunities for course attendees within professional football teams and rehabilitation facilities. His dedication to the community has helped many ambassadors advance their careers while fostering collaboration within the sports industry.
