Olympic Lifts are traditional strength training tools, that have recently faded into the background of team sports programming. Despite being the most powerful movements in the toolbox, they seem to be losing popularity. However, there are numerous Olympic lifting derivatives that are highly effective for team sport  athletes. Learn how to teach, perform, and implement these derivatives into your athletes’ programs.

Karel is a former Strongman athlete and the 2014 Belgium Strongest Man. With a wealth of experience in strength training and conditioning, Karel works with professional athletes from various sports, including American Football, rugby athletes from the Flanders Rugby Academy, and the Belgian Bullets bobsled team. He also collaborates with professional cyclists and rowers. Karel’s in-depth knowledge of power, strength, and endurance training, combined with his background as a competitive athlete, ensures that he can push athletes to their peak performance while maintaining a balance between power and agility. Karel is also the host of our Integrated Performance Podcast, where he interviews ambassadors (individuals who have attended our courses) to explore their expertise and knowledge in the field.
